The January blues are finally gone and I'm welcoming in the February chills with lots of snuggly blankets and good books. My 2019 bookclub was AMAZING and writing my monthly post here has been so much fun. It has kept me excited to read for fun, explore my local bookstore, and get a littles less screen time.
I am so excited to bring on my first book of 2020! I picked up The Vine Witch at Waterstones in January. As Adam says, the cover combines two of my favorite things: wine and witches!
The Vine Witch follows the main character Elena as battles the curse on her Vineyard Château Renard. For centuries the vines and Château have been protected and flourished with the spells of vine witches. Now under a curse, Elena must work with the Château's new owner, Vigneron Jean-Paul Martel, to break the hexes on the vineyard and restore it to it's former glory. The only issue? Vigneron Jean-Paul Martel doesn't believe in magic or the spells of the vine witches!
I'm only a couple chapters in but The Vine Witch is a lovely, fun, and easy read to kick off the 2020 bookclub! Adam was not wrong, I love a good witch/wine theme. If you want to follow along with me on my 2020 book choices you can snag the book here!
Every month, I'll be trying to post my book pick in the first week of each month along with a cocktail or caffeine drink I'm trying out for the month! Cause who doesn't love a little experimentation?! I can't wait for you to join me!
